Protection of Vietnamese Migrant Workers Abroad – Policy and Action

According to information from the Department of Overseas Labour (under the Ministry of Home Affairs), there are currently nearly 700,000 Vietnamese workers employed in approximately 40 countries and territories worldwide. Remittances from overseas workers are significant, estimated at 3.5 to 4 billion USD.
